New Season Starts for Swim Ulster

It’s that time of year again when the swimming fraternity return after their hard earned summer break to begin the new Swim Ulster Gala season.

Swim Ulster appreciates the time and effort its many volunteers contribute to the running of swimming galas and this year their job has been made just that little bit easier with support from their sponsors Bloomfield Shopping Centre and Retail Park enabling them to purchase an equipment van to aid with gala set up.

With the continued backing of Sport NI this year promises to be full of excitement, personal bests and medals. Galas will be hosted in 4 leisure centres across Ulster with the largest being the “Bloomfield Ulster Open Short Course Championships” which is being held at Bangor Castle Leisure Centre on the 18th 19th  & 20th December 2009.

So if you see the Swim Ulster van on its travels throughout Ulster, be sure to give it a wave!!
