Swim Ulster’s Clare Dawson, a final year Psychology student at Stirling University, was in fine form at the British Universities Short Course Championships held over the weekend of 14-15 November.

She achieved 2 gold medals and Ulster Senior Records in both the 100m Freestyle (55.10) and 200m Freestyle (1:57.58) events, breaking Loughborough University’s Caitlin McClatchey’s record in the latter by two-hundredths of a second.

Clare also earned a silver medal in the 400m Freestyle (4:13.65) and her efforts over the weekend were recognised with presentation of best female swimmer award.
