Swim Ulster delivers its services to 40 member clubs and 3,500 members throughout the nine counties of Ulster. With a staff complement of three, the organisation relies heavily on the numerous volunteers throughout the province who contribute an estimated 20,000 hours of volunteers time per year. This results in an estimated £200k of contribution in kind. Volunteers contribute to the fulfilment of Swim Ulster services by, for example, providing:
