About Us
History
Swim Ulster Ltd. (originally founded in 1893 as the Ulster Branch of the Irish Amateur Swimming Association) was founded in 2005. We are a sub region of Swim Ireland and as such are recognised as the governing body for all aquatic sports in Ulster. Swim Ulster exists to promote and develop the Aquatic Sports in Ulster inline with the Swim Ireland National Plan.
Aim and Objectives
- Provide a safe and secure environment for all our members.
- Provide a responsive and progressive development resource for all our member clubs.
- Provide world class training opportunities and support services in Northern Ireland to enable swimmers to develop from the paddling pool to the podium.
- Facilitate improved standards through the Swim Ireland education program.
